Victoria Atkins of Salon Decorum attended the St. Baldrick’s Foundation event at the Hockey Hall of Fame on March 20th to shave heads in support of the foundation’s mission to raise funds for childhood cancer research. Fighting cancer with a shave!

A message from St. Baldrick’s Foundation

Why are we shaving heads at this St. Baldrick’s event? Because a group of people are willing to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, who typically lose their hair during treatment. More importantly, we’re doing it to raise funds for childhood cancer research!

Worldwide, more than 160,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation partners with organizations around the world to fund childhood cancer research. We’re proud to be doing our part to give kids with cancer a better chance for a cure.
